We do not charge for collecting and removing honey bee swarms in the local community.

However we do kindly request you consider making a charitable donation to help us continue our mission of raising awareness of the importance of honey bees in and around Croydon.

Swarming is a natural occurrence when a honey bee colony needs to reproduce and is often the first stage of a queen and thousands of bees looking for a new home. They will typically cluster in a temporary location for short period of time, before moving on to a more suitable and permanent home. Unfortunately, unless caught during the clustering phase, their new home might be in a wall cavity, your chimney or another inconvenient location for us humans.

All our Swarm Collectors are unpaid volunteers, giving their time to help protect the honey bees and provide a valuable public service to the residents of Croydon to help them avoid expensive professional removal costs.
